Membership Requirements and Procedures:
The National Junior Honor Society is an organization that recognizes students who demonstrate exemplary performance in the areas of scholarship, character, citizenship, leadership and service. Each student selected for membership must meet rigorous national standards in each of these five areas and maintain these standards though out his or her junior school career.

Submission of Student Credentials for Membership:
Students who meet the requirements of scholarship (3.5 grade point average or higher for the first semester) will be invited to submit a student application packet for review.

Meeting the scholarship requirement for the national Junior Honor Society (NJHS) does not guarantee selection as a member. Candidates must also meet the criteria of the four pillars: service, leadership, citizenship, and character.

** A list of students who have earned a G.P.A of 3.5 or higher after the first semester will be posted around school at the end of January. An announcement on the P.A. system will alert students to check for the list.
